Time Flies When You're a Busy Mom!
I can't believe how busy I get and how fast time goes! I haven't been taking very many pictures lately because I just haven't! I can't believe it is already a few weeks into the new year and I am already behind with things! I have to say that Ryan's sleeping schedule was really rough on me for the past few months, but I'm happy to say that the past three nights have been great. He's been sleeping much better and I'm hoping it will get better. One of my New Year's Resolutions is to keep things picked up around the house better than I have been and so far its going well. Between that and reading some great books that is about it for my me time right now. Megan has been doing great in pre-school and dance and I'm proud of her and her cheerful attitude. Ryan continues to be the happiest baby ever during the day! He is so content to sit on the floor and play with his toys. He still loves his big sister to entertain him as well. I continue to feel so lucky to be able to stay home right now and take care of my kids. They are the greatest and I love being with them as much as I can right now because I know there will be a time when they don't want to have anything to do with me! I hope this wonderful New Year of 2009 continues well for all!
Megan is 5!
So, Megan celebrated her fifth birthday on January 1st. Of course she had a High School Musical party. Most of her family members were able to come to her party. She asked for a High School Musical room for her birthday and she was very excited to get sheets, a comforter, wall stickers, and a new hamper. She had a great day I know. I had a hard time with her turning 5. She seems a lot older to me now and not such my little girl. She is such a good girl and is very tender-hearted. We sure love Megan a whole bunch and we look forward to the next year with her!

A Snowman In St. George
We sure had some crazy weather this week! So crazy the Megan got to build her first snowman! It was so fun to make one together. We used rocks for the eyes and a piece of licorice for the smile. Megan was bummed because by noon her snowman, Frosty, was beginning to melt. I had to console her by telling her thats what happens when the sun comes out. All of the snow was gone by the end of the day, but it was a very fun morning!!
Dancing Queen!
Megan had her Christmas dance recital on Saturday night. She did a dance to "Jingle Bells." She knew her dance the very best out of all the dancers in her group (in her mom's biased opinion!). She was nervous to be backstage with the older girls. She really loves to dance!

Santa Claus is Coming to Town!
Megan finally felt that this was the year that she could sit on Santa's lap! She never has before and she wanted to this year! She stopped talking to him to pose for the pictures. She was shy too, but she did ask him for a Bouncehouse Trampoline and High School Musical stuff. She even got a candy cane when she was done. She couldn't stop talking about it the rest of the day! I guess she realized he really wasn't that bad!
Its Beginning to look alot like Christmas!
Megan's favorite Christmas decoration is this snowman. It dances and sings "Ice Ice Baby!" Megan sings it as "Ice Ice Skating." Jason and I don't have the heart to tell her what the words really are!
Ryan's favorite Christmas decoration is Rudolph. He sings and his nose lights up. Ryan only tries to grab the red nose the whole time its playing.
Our Christmas countdown! Megan looks forward to every morning when she can take out the decoration for the day. She informs Jason and I constantly that Christmas is coming very soon!
Making a gingerbread man on skis at Hurst cooking classes. We love this at Hurst every Tuesday! The best part is that its FREE!
Puzzle-Mania
Megan is really into puzzles lately. She can do puzzles that have up to 25 pieces. She loves them and mom loves it because it keeps her busy for a few minutes!
