Ryan thinks his new Bumbo chair is pretty cool! It is the coolest chair because he can sit up in it by himself and he loves to be able to look all around while he's sitting in it! I'm so glad my awesome sister-in-law told me all about it and I saw my cute niece using hers. It's the best invention to help the babies sit up before they are actually able to sit up! Besides the chair I just think it is the best smile!! He is just so happy!!

Cul-de-Sacs Are the Best!
This is the main reason why I love living in a cul-de-sac! Megan doesn't have to worry about any heavy traffic! Two of the houses in our cul-de-sac are vacant, two others have kids, and the other two houses are great older people that drive slow! She loves to ride her bike and it is a relief for me that she doesn't have to worry about too many cars!!

Deer Hunter's Widow Week-End
So, its just the kids and I from Saturday morning at 4:00 a.m. to Wednesday- sometime! It's the favorite time of the year when Jason gets to become one with nature and try his hand again in the deer archery season. He got his first deer during archery last year and he is hoping to try and get another one this year. Our freezer still contains deer meat from last year and he is really hoping to add to it! I have to admit that vension is not my favorite, but it works out really well for Jason when he comes home from work and he is the only one in the mood for some meat! I tell him to go ahead!! He has made some really good jerky though that most everyone likes when they try it and they still like it after he tells them it is deer meat. This is still an adjustment for me because when I was dating him and even after I married him-- he was NOT a hunter. Now he hunts deer, turkey, havalina (wild pigs), and whatever else he can. It seems there is always something for him to be hunting, no matter what time of the year it is! I really don't know what changed him-- but I know he loves it and he has fun. So, the next few days consist of the kids and I fending for ourselves!! I'll keep you posted how his hunt went!!
